Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea
The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea features a wide range of Kentucky’s outstanding artisan works in its galleries, exhibition and shopping areas. Whether on display in a themed gallery exhibition or in a shop setting, you’ll find unique items with information about the artisans themselves, and the materials and processes they use. You’ll find superbly crafted glass, pottery, metal and forged steel, sculpture, note cards, works from wood, fine furniture, and jewelry, as well as fiber and paper, specialty foods, music and books. Two-dimensional works include oil and watercolor paintings, pastels, drawings, photographs and prints. No matter what your interests or budget, you’re sure to find just what you’re looking for. The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea features artisan demonstrations every Saturday throughout the year from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. bringing the creative process to light for visitors. The Center also offers food tastings, book signings by Kentucky Authors, and musical performances. The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is open daily, year round from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free and the café is open from 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily.
