Sanders Park
Owned and operated by the Corbin Tourism and Convention Commission, Sanders Park is the newest attraction in Corbin! Dedicated August 5, 2015, the park features memorial bricks, pavers and plaques as well as a life size bronze statue of Colonel Harland Sanders himself! On site is also a "Secret Recipe" garden that contains some of the 11 herbs and spices used in the Colonels famous secret recipe, as well as an official monarch butterfly wayside station. Get your picture with the Colonel and learn the history of Corbin's most famous citizen and his quest for the American Dream. Open year round, admission is free and the park is centrally located to the original KFC and museum, the Corbin Rail Museum, Cumberland Falls State Park and Laurel Lake.
