Millennium Park
The 3 1/2 miles of trails provide walkers, runners, and bikers ample usage of all active and passive areas of the park. The 2-mile outer loop of the trail system provides a leisurely 30 minute walk around the park. Located around the trail system are benches and swings providing peaceful breaks for walkers. Home to many ducks that provide fun and entertainment for the very young and the young-at-heart users of Millennium Park, the signature facility of the Park is Millennium Lake. Fishing off the bank is an added attraction to this facility (all government regulations apply regarding fishing licenses) and the lake fountain provides a scenic backdrop to a peaceful setting for the novice or experienced angler.
The soccer complex has six youth and one adult soccer field. The areas are used for youth flag football, Centre College intramural soccer, and Bluegrass Youth Soccer regular season and ''select'' programs. The lighted youth football field, named in honor of Edwin Kubale, Jr., hosts Parks and Recreation youth football games in the fall and youth soccer games in the spring. The central Picnic/Play area of the Park is next to the Community Trust Bank Shelter and contains a variety of play equipment. This area is for children ages 4-10 and parking/restrooms are next to the site.
The park has several playgrounds, picnic shelters, a dog park, and a skate park.
