Haney's Appledale Farm

Located in the small community of Nancy, Haney's Appledale Farm has become a staple of South-Central Kentucky. Whether it be a family's tradition of going into the orchards to pick their favorite apples or just someone enjoying warm apple pie, many from all-over have rich memories of Haney's farm. The actual establishment of Haney's dates back to the late 1800s. Since then, this once small, road-side fruit stand has evolved into a staple of fresh fruit for people of the Lake Cumberland Region.  The farm has been passed down through five generations, the latest owners being Don and Mark Haney.  Today, Haney's farm sprawls more than 450 acres in South Central Kentucky.  The family grows over 25 varieties of apples, 10 varieties of peaches, pears, and nectarines on more than 70 acres.  The business also has a roadside market and a pie shop. Haney's is a certified Farm Bureau Roadside Market.  In our market, you can buy one of our many varieties of hand-picked apples.  In season, we also offer sun-ripened peaches, apple cider, nectarines, pears, pumpkins, summer vegetables, gourds, and mums.  At times in the year, we open our orchards to customers to pick their own fruit. In addition to our seasonal produce, we offer jams, jellies, specialty sauces, salsas, baskets, hand-made toys, crafts, honey, sorghum (molasses), gifts, local battlefield memorabilia, cookbooks, candies, gourmet cheeses, country ham, and more.  We also have a large line of sugar-free products. From our freshly squeezed apple cider to our hand-picked, sun ripened fruit, we ensure quality in everything we sell. You'll enjoy our market full of fresh produce, jams and jellies (also in sugar-free), freshly baked goods, local crafts, and much, much more!  Open 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Sat, and 1:00pm-5:00pm Sunday in the summer and fall.
