Keeneland Tours
A National Historic Landmark, Keeneland features beautifully landscaped grounds that are open to the public every day. Fans and horsemen alike are welcome to enjoy its spectacular racing, attend one of its annual horse sales or simply visit the grounds and celebrate Keeneland's timeless beauty. YEAR-ROUND TOURS.
For guests interested in learning about the history of Keeneland and get an insider view of operations for both racing and sales, guided walking tours are available. This outside walking tour with our experienced Tour Guide takes our guests on a stroll through the Keeneland Paddock and Grandstand, grounds, and when available, guests will have the opportunity to see the world-renowned Sales Pavilion. Following the trackside tour, fans are invited to visit the Keeneland Library, one of the world's largest repositories of information related to the Thoroughbred.Buy your tickets online for now through December 30, 2017, for Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tours are not available on all major holidays.
Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the Keeneland Ticket Window for $8 per person; children 12 and under are free. Tours will be limited to 30 people, so visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Our tour lasts for one hour and largely takes place outside -- rain or shine. For your comfort, we ask that you dress for the weather, as well as wear appropriate shoes for walking/standing/climbing stairs. Please check in to the Grandstand South Ticket Window located at the top of parking row 7 by 8:20 a.m. ET.
During the race meets in April and October, tours are available Tuesday, Thursday and Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m. or during SUNRISE TRACKSIDE on Saturday mornings.
Additional tour days/dates are available upon request at $15 per person.
