Louisville Memorial Auditorium

Louisville Memorial Auditorium was dedicated on
Memorial Day in 1929, from the outgrowth of two movements: one for a
public auditorium, the other for a memorial to commemorate the deeds of the sons
and daughters of Louisville, KY and Jefferson County who served in WWI.

After 90 years of
operation the affordable venue and historic landmark continues to attract an
estimated 250,000 guests annually who attend stage productions, graduations,
dance competitions, concerts, conventions, weddings, meetings, fundraisers,
memorials, group tours and a variety of private events.
