Meade County Tourism
Welcome to Meade County, a destination rich in culture
and history. Visit us and you’ll find delicious local dining, shops filled with
unique regional finds, and parks that range from wooded
trails to children’s playgrounds. We have 56 scenic miles of river frontage
and a beautiful historic district that overlooks some of the best views of the
Ohio River. But the river isn’t all our charm. Have you every ate pizza in a haunted jail built in
1908, shopped the wares of local
artisans in a hotel built in 1835, or gotten a cup of coffee in a historic
bank? If not, then check out our downtown!
While you are out, you can stop by Roberts Family Farm for local
honey, jam, and wooden crafts. Visit our local Farmer’s Market
from May to October or take a trip to the famous Stull’s
Country Store and find out where the heck is Andyville.
Do you like county fairs? We have the best is the state. Visit us in
2021 and see how we’ve kept this tradition alive for 100 years! What about disc
golf? We have 3
parks. Mountain
biking? We have 3 trails and a pump track.
In Meade County
we have a little something for everyone. Stop by and see us. We’re on the
river, but not out of the way.
