Mineral Mound State Park

This peaceful setting on the shores of Lake Barkley is historically linked to the author F. Scott Fitzgerald. 'The Cullan' golf course, picnic area, fishing pier and boat ramp offers fun for everyone.
Top Four Things to Do

- Play 18 holes of championship golf.
- Launch from the boat ramp to fish or paddle.
- View osprey, deer, fox, and albino skunks in the wildlife refuge.
- Fish off the bank in and around the courtesy dock.

Birding
Bird watching is difficult at Mineral Mound State Park because it is primarily a golf course, but golfers might observe osprey, a variety of duck, crane, gull, pelican, eagle, hawk, and finch while playing. Bluebirds are also abundant due to park efforts in placing bluebird boxes.
