Park City Tourist & Convention Commission

Park City is rich in history! Located right next door to Mammoth Cave National Park, Park City  has been known throughout history as Bell's Station, Three Forks and Glasgow Junction. Since cave tours began in 1812, Park City was the main stagecoach and railway stop for weary travelers heading to  Diamond Caverns and Mammoth Cave.   Bell's Tavern was originally constructed as a stop for weary travelers headed to Mammoth Cave since the cave was opened up for tourists and additional exploration.  Bell's Tavern ruins still stand today. Stop by current day Park City and view the ruins of Bell's Tavern and visit the Bell's family cemetery.
